Privacy Policy

FaithKnight is a Bible training game operated by Summit Ridge Media LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information FaithKnight collects, how we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. It covers the FaithKnight website at faithknight.app and the FaithKnight app.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address, password (stored by our sign-in provider, never readable by us), the name you choose, and your birth year. We ask for birth year to confirm you are old enough to have your own account.
- Gameplay and progress. Lessons, answers, scores, XP, streaks, ranks, badges, Bible reading progress and reading time, training results, and match and league results. We use this to run the game, save your progress and show leaderboards.
- Notes and highlights. Highlights, bookmarks and notes you save in the Bible reader.
- Voice and speech. Some features let you speak instead of type: speaking a Scripture, praying aloud in Prayer Training, and answering aloud in the Shadow Realm and Logic Forge. The microphone is used only after you choose to speak. Your words are turned into text either on your device or, when that is not available, by sending the recording securely to our transcription provider. We keep the resulting text (for example, the transcript of a Scripture you recited) to score and save your attempt. We do not keep the audio recording on our servers. For Prayer Training we keep your scores, not the words of your prayer.
- Purchases. Your membership level, Shield purchases, and payment history (plan, amount, date and status). Card details are entered with our payment processor and are never stored by us.
- Family, Fellowship and church features. If you invite someone, join a Family, join a Fellowship, or are a member of a church group, we keep the membership and the invite details needed to run it.
- Technical information. Like any website, our servers receive your IP address, browser or device type and the pages you request, and keep server logs to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To run the game: grade answers, save progress, award rewards and show leaderboards.
- To process purchases and manage memberships, Family seats and Shields.
- To understand how FaithKnight is used as a whole so we can improve it.
- To send account emails such as sign-in links, email verification and password resets.
- To respond to you when you contact support.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites or to show you third-party advertising.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run FaithKnight, and only what each needs:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and account emails.
- Stripe: payment processing for purchases made on the website.
- Deepgram: speech-to-text, when a recording you choose to make cannot be transcribed on your device.
- Anthropic: AI evaluation of the text of answers you give in the Shadow Realm, and generation of Bible reading questions.
- Kit: email for church leaders who set up a church account.
- Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
Purchases made through Apple’s App Store are processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our players and our service.
Children
You must be 13 or older to create your own FaithKnight account. Anyone younger is stopped at sign-up and asked to play through a parent’s Family. A parent who wants to review or delete information about their child can contact us at support@summitridgemediagroup.com.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information while your account is open. To delete your account, email support@summitridgemediagroup.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete your account and the personal information linked to it, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Your choices
- You can use typing instead of the microphone wherever speaking is offered, and you can turn off microphone access in your device settings.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, at support@summitridgemediagroup.com.
Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to our systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
